Think this may help us prepare for our upcoming tournament.
1. Marshalls should have 20-20 vision. (bawal ang nakasalamin, hehe...)
2. Marshalls should wear mask with clear glass goggles for clearer vision.
3. Marshalls should wear appropriate clothing (and enough padding)that will distinguish them as marshalls and protect them from stray bb's.
4. Marshalls should have played airsoft for at least 6 months and participated in 2 tournaments.
5. Marshalls should have a good sense of judgement, unbiased and cool headed (di pwede si hothead hehe..).
6. Enough marshalls should be assigned depending on the land area covered to avoid blind spots.
7. Clearly shout "PLAYER HIT, " and point into the concerned player in identifying dead tango's. Do not lecture player in the middle of the game that he didnt declare hit or he has complaints. "Sir, please vacate warsite, hit napo kayo" would be a more subtle term than "Hoy, Gag-##%*#$%, kanina ka pa hit!"
8. Should avoid use of profane language (wag kang bastos!).
9. Should be the first to pacify any heated quarrel among players within the game.
10. Marshalls will not be allowed to play during the event.
11. Marshalls decision should be firm and final (no matter how bad it may be). Changing your decision in the middle of the game would diminish your credibility as a good marshall.
12. Lightly tap the player if he did not hear your call.
13. Make use of megaphones to call out players and maybe sticks to tap "deaf" players.
14. Must have seen a direct BB hit on a player to call him out.
15. Must know the rules and regulations of the tournament
16. Watch out for point blank shooting
17. Treat all players with courtesy and respect. Be friendly to the participants, it's not easy hated for being a good marshall
18. Marshalls shall watch and cover an area of 5 meters left, right and forward of him
19. Make sure the player heard your call before calling yellow, red cards
20. When more than 1 marshall decide on a certain player, the other marshalls should enforce the first call. (marshals should avoid conflict of decisions unless it's really necessary and deliberation must be done after the game)
21. You can never please everybody!
22. Beware of richochet’s, and hits to the weapon.
23. A marshals decision must not be swayed by audience comments and reactions.
24. Chronoing AEG’s:
provide you the bbs or the mags with .2 bbs(diff bb weight, like.25 above will lower fps) hop up is set to off
they fire full auto first, checking if the bb path is wild - there is oil
on some cases take out anything after the nozzle (eg, silencer)
25. Stopping a game should be done during emergency cases only(eg, grave physical injury of a player or a fist fight.)
