It’s still basically a star chart. But you can now download images through add-ons that show images in the star chart. Once you plate solve, it draws your camera viewport at the correct size and orientation on the star chart so you can see how it’s framed.
The INDI server can be launched locally or remotely on another computer. In this last case a ssh tunnel is established to allow local client connection.
